How can companies that operate globally safely navigate their business activity without breaching these laws
What are the main risks and how compliance can help to mitigate these risks?
This session look at some of the questions and actions firms may consider. Whilst the discussion was based on the new DIFC Data Protection Law and Guidelines, this law could be considered in a similar light to the ADGM rules, and as a peek into the future for onshore and other jurisdictions which are yet to put similar rules in place. The GDPR harmonisation efforts also apply when firms have international exposure.
